25 rooftop bars to visit in London

25 rooftop bars to visit in London

Hey friends! London is experiencing yet again another heatwave, but I’m not going to complain as it’s probably the last one of the summer… I swear this year is flying by!

As we soak up the last bit of summer, it’s the perfect time to take in the city views & watch the sunset from one of London’s rooftop bars.

Here’s a list of 27 popular rooftop bars where I highlighted some of my favorites…

Best rooftops in London

Savage garden

I first discovered this bar when staying at the Hilton at Tower Bridge in January 2020. Unfortunately it was much too chilly to enjoy the views completely, but this one does have an indoor/outdoor concept so you can visit despite bad weather. $$ Tower Hill

- Radio rooftop bar

- Aqua spirit

- 10° sky bar

- LSQ Rooftop

- Netil360

Aviary

This is another good one to visit even when it’s cold out. Because it’s a super central location, the view gives an unique perspective of the city. Definitely book one of their igloos for the winter months to cozy up under the twinkling city lights. $$ Shoreditch

- Aqua Kyoto

- Sabine

- The rooftop St James

- 601 Queens Rd

- 12th Knot

One hundred Shoreditch

This swanky hotel deems a beautiful restaurant with a pink bar top, need I say more? The outside terrace of the restaurant gives you perfect views looking back on the skyscraper buildings during golden hour. $$ Shoreditch

Wagtail

One of the only bars in London with true 360 views of the city. The menu is connected to the restaurant below which also has lovely terrace seating (see post photo). $$ Financial district

- Jin Bo Law

- Seabird

- Skylark roof garden

- Queen of Hoxton

- Skylight

No 32 The Old Town

If you fancy going outside of central to get a bit more local flair, this is the place for you. While they don’t have skyscraper views, they make up for it in cute, cozy alfresco dining. $ Clapham

- Upper 5th Shoreditch

- Bar Elba

- Madison

- Franks cafe

- Bussey rooftop bar

That should keep you busy until winter! Which one is first on your list?

Sincerely,

Sarah
