1. Pluk Cafe

  • Located in the Negen Straatjes (9 streets) area, this was my favorite little cafe in the heart of everything. between the delicious and detailed desserts, the cute gift corner, and the marble table tops with greenery, who wouldn’t want to take all the photos here? Instagram: @Plukamsterdam

2. Basically ANY Canal

  • One famous one is the Bridge of 15 Bridges. The other famous canal in Amsterdam is Princengracht Prince’s Canal.

3. Happy Bookieman

  • Really just for the cute insta stories of his dog Mosey below. This place looks like just a washed up bookstore, but it’s actually a secret bar! Instagram: @Happybookieman

Floating flower market is filled with real Tulips during the spring and bulbs for planting during the fall!

  • Vondelpark

  • Keukenhof Gardens ( Best during Tulip season)

7. Famous Narrow Houses of Damrak

  • The houses in Amsterdam are so narrow because you used to be taxed on how wide your house was in the front. These narrow houses have become an icon of Amsterdam.

8. Street Food

  • Vleminckx Frites are perfect for a late night snack while walking home.

They have over 19 sauces to choose from! I got the Curry garlic sauce and it was delicious. My mom got plain jane Ketchup.

9. Jordaan neighborhood

  • A trendy neighborhood just on the other side of 9 streets

10. Wall Gallery, De Pijp

  • Including the “wake me up when I’m famous” graffiti wall

11. Staalmeestersbrug Love Lock Bridge

12. Zevenlandenhuizen

  • A unique street where there are seven different nations represented by the Architecture of seven different houses

13. NDSM Werf

  • Graffiti galore! You have to go a bit a ways outside of the city centre for this place, but you will have all the amazing colorful backgrounds to choose from in this shipping container playground.
